Kindle 3rd Gen Review - Gmail, Google Talk, Google Maps, Blogger - Part 2

Click here to purchase: www.amazon.com Click here to see image searches on the Kindle: www.youtube.com (make sure you watch in HD) Click here for part 1: www.youtube.com **Update** 12/2011 message from Amazon appeared on the kindle (I don't know whether this applies to newer generations) saying: "There is no charge to use Whispernet 3G wireless outside the US to receive books, receive single periodical issues, access archived items, browse the Kindle store, or use the experimental web browser." Here's a demonstration of several Google products on the 3rd generation Amazon Kindle. Gmail is the most difficult one to use, and while I had success with it yesterday, I was unable to send a message today. I forgot to include Google Calendar on this, but that works as well, although I haven't tried to setup appointments. This is the 3G model, although I am logged onto WIFI for the Google Talk portion. Interestingly enough, my desk is too far for my laptop to get WIFI, but Kindle was able to reach. Normally WIFI is faster, but at that distance from the router, 3G was actually much faster than WIFI.
